What Causes A Burning Sensation In The Vagina?

I am due on my period and i do usually suffer extremely painful cramps before, however, I was drinking last night too and this morning my vagina is burning!!!!! I died to lay in the shower for an hour.Its sooo painful, I did not have sex but I just want to know if it's related to booze? Or if I have a bladder infection?
