What Causes A Child To Abruptly Stop Breathing?

Had a 2 yr old male child brought to ER tonite. Mom states he got into some truffles. Said he was sorry he was bad then hunched over and mom said he stopped breathing. He was fine at time of arrival, 100% oxygen, HR 107, no rash, good airway, lungs clear, alert and talking. What could have happened?

Well come to HCM
Without eliciting proper history and clinical examination nothing can be said for sure because as you said at the time of arrival child was okay, at the most EKG and CT can be taken to ruled of some cardio vascular and cerebral disease, ask the mother to keep open the eye, else this is nothing, to worry, hope this information helps.
