What Causes A Chunky Vaginal Discharge During Pregnancy?

I have a thick white and chunky discharge. I am 11 weeks pregnant and i have had this discharge for about 4 days now. I got done using a prescribed gel that was inserted in the vagina for bacterial vaginosis. I got done using this thursday of last week. Well as soon as i started using this about 2 days after i got the weird discharge. I just want to know why im having this discharge and when its going to go away.
