What Causes A Clear Bump On The Eyeball With Blood Shot Eye?

I have a clear bump on my eyeball and my eye is very blood shot where the bump is. It doesn't hurt and I wouldn't really even know it's there unless I look in the mirror, but it looks really bad. Any ideas what it is, and will it go away on it's own?

it appears the bump is over conjunctiva. it can be allergic traumatic or inflammatory. symptom wise itching, pain and discharge can help to differentiate. for trauma there should be history of trauma. keeping every thing in mind it appears it is inflammatory or allergic. for final opi nion local examination by eye doctor is required. therapeutic trial like antibiotic drop and analgesic anti noninflammatory can be tried. For allergy levocetrizine tablet5mg daily and cromal eye drop 3times may be tried. result can be reviewed. after all eye doctor will give final opinion
