Hi,

Heavy bleeding with clots can cause severe cramps while clots are expelled. Anemia can cause excessive bleeding. A type of anemia and treatment is needful in such case. Similarly hormonal imbalance needs to be excluded (hormonal assay or endometrial biopsy). After knowing the cause specific treatment would help you. Please consult a gynecologist for specific investigations& advise of treatment.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
