What Causes A Cyst Between The Knuckles After Taking Methotrexate For Rheumatoid Arthritis?
I have RA and upon taking Methotrexate, the first day, 7.5m, I developed a lump very cyst like between the knuckles of my first and second finger while using a rotary cutter quilting. It gets smaller when rested, but inflames when being used. Is this part of the RA or could this be a side effect of the Methotrexate? It has been a week, and I am due to increase the dose tomorrow for the next week. any concerns. I will be seeing the Rheumatologist in 2 weeks.

It looks to me like part of RA as RA involves the joints in the knuckle . If it doesn't pain or cause much pressure effect we can wait and watch and if it does it can be excised .
