What Causes A Cyst On The Vaginal Lining With Low Grade Fever?

I have what I think may be a large cyst on front of vaginal/pelvic area. It is almost as long as a hand and about 3 fingers width wide. Most of it is hard and very sore. Any ideas what it could be or what I should do? I ve been running a low grade fever for about 4 days now and I m wondering if it can be due to this?

Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to Bartholin cysts. I recommend using anti-inflammatory medication for the pain such as Ibuprofen. I recommend using prescribed antibiotics. I also suggest warm compresses in the area.
