What Causes A Dark Bruise Near The Pacemaker 8 Months After Its Placement?

I am a nurse at a facility with people with developmental disabilities I have a male client with a artificial valve which was done 20 years ago he had a pacemaker put in 8 months ago he is currently on Coumadin as well tonight we noticed a dark bruise over the pacemaker he denies in jurying it should I be concerned

dark bruise is not linked to heart surgery or fitting of pace maker. may be that small incision given for fitting pacemaker has given rise to post operative bruise. drugsenitivity should give rise to bruise all over body bleeding time and clotting time may be tested to rule out bleeding disorder.
