What Causes A Dark Red Circle On The Wrist While Suffering With Pneumonia?

Hello, I currently am under treatment for pneumonia. This evening I looked down at my wrist and notice a dark red circle about cm in dia. Could it have anything to do with my infection. No other spots, just sun and age. I have been on steroids for two rounds and two types of anti-biotics. My mouth is sensitive and sore too. I get that with the meds. Any clues to the wierd spot?

As a first line management, you can apply low potency steroid creams like betamethasone for symptomatic relief. If the lesion persists, it is better to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.
