What Causes A Dark Spot On The Left Side Of The Chest?

I have a half dollar sized slightly darker skin tone on the left side of my chest slightly higher and to the right of my left auricle. I am an active physically fit 56 year old white mail. After I eat, the spot itches for 5-10 minutes. I ve had it for 5 years or so. Thanks for your help.

Hi.
As per your case history you are having granuloma annulare.
My treatment advice is -
1. Don't worry, it is benign disease.
2. Don't scratch the lesion as it may worsen the condition.
3. Apply a mild topical steroid cream like mometasone cream on the lesion twice daily.
4. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine for itching.

If problem persists then consult a dermatologist.

Thanks.
