What Causes A Delay In Menstrual Bleeding Despite Taking Susten?

Hi Doctor,Am 36 years old, I have been advised to take susten for 14 days after rupture. Yesterday was the 14th Day and today am in periods. Generally periods come after 7 days after stopping susten medicine. Is it that things have not worked in my favour.Really very upset with this. Kindly suggest.

Hello,

You will get periods 2-10 days after stoppage of Susten. No worries, there is no need to be upset.

Stay away from anxiety & stress. Take food rich in proteins, calcium & iron.

Stay well hydrated. Take adequate sleep.
