What Causes A Delay In Menstruation?

Hi I took mifeprestone and misoprost tablets for abortion about a month back . I took an i pill the next month. I had a period in fifteen days and then I haven't had a period for about 40 days after that. I had sex using the withdrawal technique. I also took the home pregnancy test which came negative. what could be wrong?
