What Causes A Delay In Periods Despite Taking Ovral G?

My gyanist suggestted me to take Ovaral G get regularise my periods, i got a 20 tablets pack n took it regularly for past 20 days, its 3 days since my tablets got over and am yet to get my periods. can i wait for few more days or shud i consult the doc rite away.
