What Causes A Delayed Menstrual Period With Negative Pregnancy Test?

I came on my period on the 20th Dec but it only lasted a day and was very light, I've now gone 49 days and not come on. I normally start around 35 days, i've never gone over that. I've taken two pregnancy tests but both negative. Could I still be pregnant?
