What Causes A Delayed Period While On Birth Control Pills?

Hi! On last march break, i was supposed to have my period, i'm on birth control pills, and instead of taking the sugar pills i went straight to my new pack. I'm now finished with it, it's been 3 days since i'm on the sugar pill and I still don't have my period. Is there something wrong?
