What Causes A Delayed Period With Negative Pregnancy Test?
Dear Dr Chetna,
I am a 28 year old woman who has been married for the last 5 months. As of last month I missed my period by over 35 days. I consulted a doctor who advised I take a pregnancy test- which luckily was negative. Could you please advise the reason for this delay. Could it be due to stress/ change in surroundings or should I conduct any tests. I usually have very regular periods (5 days) and I just wanted to take a second opinion.
I also seem to have a lower sex drive (in comparison to my partner)- could you please suggest medication/ action in this regard. Also could you please advise the safest contraceptive measures (we only use condoms).
