What Causes A Discharge Which Is Clear And Stretchy And With Blood Streaks In It?

I had my daughter 7 months ago. My next period is August 8th. Today I noticed some blood. My discharge is clear and stretchy and with blood streaks. The first time this happened was before my last period in July. What could this be? Never happened before until my last period.
