What Causes A Distinct Blue Vein On My Testicle?

Recently a few months i noticed on my left testicle...a small blue vein which can be seen at the surface...it only extents perhaps 0.4 cm and thats it...could it be a varicocele ? i dont have any apparent symptoms. when i put an ice pack. the vein disappears

Visible vein over the scrotum may be normal.Varicocele presents like bag of earthworms.The testis in the affected side hangs lower than the other side.
