What Causes A Drop In ESR Rate From 17 To 4 ?

Hello,I am a 38 year-old female with a range of symptoms. In early December 2010, my ESR rate was 17 (the normal reference range set by this lab is 0-12 MM/H). Six weeks later, the ESR was 4. During the first test, there was no visible sign of infection or fever. Also, I had a hysterectomy last spring. Can you explain what could account for the difference?

Thank you,
Eliza
