What Causes A Dull Pain In The Chest?

I woke in the early hours of this morning with a dull pain in my left breast which has continued throughout the day. It is not severe pain like I would associate with a heart attack -- and it is not across my whole chest, but it is definitely a dull discomfort. Should I be concerned and what may be a likely cause of this discomfort?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello! Thank you for writing us here.
Well pain like that has too many reasons.
If its dull and aggravate more while working or radiate to your left arm (on the pinkie side of your arm) or your jaw, its something to worry about. You must consult a cardiologist as soon as possible.

But if you don't have such symptoms, it could be due to hormonal imbalance making your breast little tender.

Best regards,
Dr Gunjan
