What Causes A Feel Of Having A Lump In Buttocks?

I feel like sometimes I am sitting on a small ball. This has been going on for the last couple of weeks. I am supposed to have a colonoscopy in two weeks because my father was recently diagnosed with colorectal cancer. Will the doctor be able to check for this ball during the colonoscopy or should I see someone else about this? I am a 44 year old female.

Hi,

The ball you suspect in only 15 days span can be the bone of the hip joint you feel while sitting on it. You might have started noting it due to your suspicion of cancer like in your father. You are already getting investigated soon. At present for your psychological satiety get in checked by your family doctor.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
