What Causes A Feeling Of Heaviness In The Throat?

Respected Doctor, for the last 4-5 months, I have been feeling heaviness in my throat. I feel as if something is stuck their making me quite uncomfortable. Sometimes, I also feel chocking sensation i.e., difficulty in breathing. There is no burning sensation though. On medical advice, I have tried antacids but without much success. My height is 5'8" and weight in excess of 85 Kgs. I am 41, male. Otherwise, I have no health problem. My working schedule keep me sitting for long hours. Please advise me the remedy.
