What Causes A Feeling Of Something Stuck In Throat?

Hello, I have had a lump on my gum for over a month now. I changes in colour and in size all the time. Recently it seems like it has remained a particular size but in different colours. I saw my doctor about it lastweek and it was so small then that my doctor told me it was nothing. Recently too, i have been having a feeling that something is stuck in my throat. Although there are no pains swallowing, i feel some discomfort after eating that the food is still stock there. The doctor also told me its nothing. But i am still kinda scared.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It may be due to tonsillitis. For that you may require complete hemogram, throat swab after ENT consultation. You may require antibiotics after consultation. Continue saline or betadine gargles twice a day. Avoid hot and spicy food. Take hygienic food and water.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shyam B. Kale, General & Family Physician
