What Causes A Feeling Of Tightness In The Throat?

My throat feels very tight and I have difficulty swallowing and occasionally breathing. My friends say i have a bad posture and am constantly slouching. I have started ballet to help my posture and try to sit up straight but i still feel like my throat is very tight.

Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

The symptoms can be related to the posture if you don't have other symptoms such as a fever or cough.
If your posture is poor, the neck muscles are required to work in inefficient ways to support the weight of your head. This imbalance can lead to a feeling of tightness in your neck.
In this case, you can consult a chiropractor to help fixing your posture.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
