General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms can be related to bronchitis which is an inflammation of the bronchi. I recommend using anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen. I also recommend using a mucolytic such as Mucinex. Antibiotics may also be helpful to treat the infection.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
