Hello and welcome to HCM, Foul smelling amniotic fluid could be due to infection or due to meconium in the amnion. Was the delivery uneventful or was it accompanied by some complication? Infection of the membranes is a serious complication and can lead to complications like low birth weight, pre-mature labor, etc. Meconium in amniotic fluid refers to presence of secretions of the intestine in amnion and it makes the amnion green and and foul smelling. Meconium in amnion is commonly due to birth asphyxia. However, if the delivery was uneventful, there is low possibility of these complications. Absence of hair in your daughter is not likely to be related to any event during child birth. For the problem of absence of hair at the age of two, you need to consult a dermatologist for clinical assessment and to find out the cause.
Thanks and take care Dr Shailja Puri
