There is no pain at all and I wasn t born with it it just appeared and is getting darker and larger very slowly over the past three years. I can t recall any injuries. Any idea what this is?

Hello and welcome to Healthcamagic.
You need to do ultrasound and needle biopsy to verify what it really is and then it can be treated properly. This may be subconsciously located lesion such as hemagioma or lipoma and in some cases may be surgically treated.
I hope I have answered your query. I wish you a nice day.
