What Causes A Hard Knot On Left Knee After Total Knee Replacement?

I had a tkr on the left side on the first. Was feeling pretty good but in the last week I have a really hard knot on the upper left side of my kneecap and burns really bad. Especially at night. Interferes with my sleep and pain meds don t help much. Any thoughts? Thanks Becky

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if this is the post surgical event then it has to be seen by the surgeon, it may be anything right from the formation of abscess to surgical complication, clinical examination is must to know this, it may be soft tissue inflammation too hope this information helps.
