What Causes A Hard Lump Above The Temple?

I have a hard lump above my left temple. I feel as if it has grown slightly bigger. its almost of the size of a bean. its been about 2 years when i discovered it for the first time. at times i feel pain above or under this lump but its very very rare. I m really scared of going to the doctors. How can i come to know about the nature of the tumor.

Hi,
From history it seems that there might be having Sebaceous cyst or Lipoma over the part.
If there is no pain or increasing the size, nothing to be done.
Ok and take care.
