What Causes A Hard Lump Inside Vagina?

I found a hard lump inside my vagina. I had a hysterectomy in 1995. This lump is grape sized, hard and a bit smaller than when I first found it. It felt like it was on a stem the first time I felt it. Now it doesn t seem to move around as much and when I touch it I feel cramps. I is very hard, perfectly oval, and doesn t seem embedded in my vagina. I didn t feel anything the first time I felt it but just now it bothers me to touch it. Slight cramping. Hannah Kempson

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think the lump in your vagina is related to the primary diagnosis for which you underwent hysterectomy. So, you should get an immediate consultation with your gynecologist and run further diagnostic tests.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
