What Causes A Hard Painless Lump On Ankle?

Hi I have a very hard small almost sharp lump on my right ankle, under the ankle bone/fatty area, I believe under the tendons. I have no injury history. It does not move, it is size of a small pea but not round, almost sharp, has a tip/point. Slightly tender but not sure if that is because I m touching it to assess. What could it be?

Hi,

I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concerns.

The hard lump on your ankle is suggestive for possible :
- lipoma
- tissue organisation after trauma

I advise to consult with dermatologist and to run ultrasound of the lump to determine the final diagnosis.

All the best!
