What Causes A Headache After Taking Methylprednisolone?
I take methylprednisolone (4mg dospak 21 s) for my ear infection from today. According the instruction, I took 2 tabs before breakfast, one after lunch, one after dinner, I need to take 2 on bed time. But, now I feel headache.... DO I STILL NEED TO TAKE that 2 TABS on BED TIME? ( It almost is the bed time) Thanks!
In my opinion, you should stop taking Methylprednisolone. Methylprednisolone is an oral steroid. It is actually contraindicated in acute infection. And you are taking very high dose of methylprednisolone which can cause headache as a side effect.
So better to stop Methylprednisolone.
Talk with your doctor about its dosage because I think there is some mistake in dosing. Take simple painkiller like paracetamol or ibuprofen for headache.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
