What Causes A Heart Patient To Be Talkative And Aggressive?

My husband had a stroke over a year ago and is well in most ways. But he talks nonstop. And is a little aggressive. Is this normal? And how best can I deal with this. He is a good man. He plays guitar, one of the best ever and has no problem doing so. So why can t he control the talking?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It may be related to the area of the brain affected by the stroke.

Parts of the brain control speech and other parts play a role in helping us control or restrict our activities/speech.

If either or both of these has been affected by the stroke then his behavior would be affected.
You should consider speaking to his neurologist about the changes that you have noticed

I hope this helps
