What Causes A Heavy Feeling On The Knee After A Surgery?

After surgery on my left knee last November and several monthe of physical therapy, I still have not fully recovered and it feels it is heavy at the knee. I can walk and perform almost all essential activities. Why do I feel heaviness on the knee, after six months?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

If your left knee doesn't have redness, pain, itching like symptoms than no need to worry as per my opinion. However, I suggest you investigate with knee joint digital X-ray and revert back with the report. No need to worry about feeling heaviness only.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Parth Goswami, General & Family Physician
