What Causes A Heavy Menstrual Period With Stomach Pain?

i was a week over due for my period. i went and got a blood test and it s negative.

however i have been sick all week still and i woke up well with what i assume is my period this morning however it is extremely heavy and constant and uncontrollable compaired to usual and i havent been able too stomach anything since sunday. i have no cramping just horribly ill and cannot stand the smell of food. the stomach pain above the belly is excrusiating and i just want to know if i should be worried>?
