What Causes A Hematoma In The Leg?

I have a sizeable hematoma on my left shin. I saw a doctor last Friday and he told me to use warm compresses, baby aspirin, elevate and a pain med. It has not improved and still same size and painful. Is there anything else I can do? I m very worried.

As per your history is concerned do RICE R-rest,I-Ice,C-compression,E-elevation from heart line and apply heat to the affected organ it will dissolve automatically ,you can take any painkillers if there is pain otherwise not.Thanks
