General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* The hematoma must be carefully treated to avoid any nasty infection through staph aureus or another bug as any breach in the continuity of skin or mucosa is likely prone for entry of bacteria.

* Need sterile dressing care, antibiotics, and anti-inflammatory agents with serratiopeptidase or chymotrypsin to resolve the issue faster and avoid secondary bacterial infection at all.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
