General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

On the treadmill and while doing exercise heart rate increases it is the physiological phenomenon but it should not be associated with symptoms like fatigue, breathing difficulty, dizziness, chest discomfort, if the heart rate remains high even without the exercise then it has to be checked or tested with EKG.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Cardiologist Dr. Bhanu Partap's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

After going through the medical details provided by you I understand your concern and I would like to tell you that heart rate is ever changing phenomena depending on your activity level, emotional stress and physiological changes. Increased heart rate is pretty obvious after a exercise which is normal and need not be worried about. If you experience any chest discomfort with rapid heart rate then get a baseline ECG done.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhanu Partap
