I see my rheumatologist on a regular basis. She does routine blood work and everytime I have a slightly elevated platelet count. It s been happening for 2 years now. She said that I m not anemic and I don t have an auto immune disorder. Today she decided to refer me to a hematologist. Is there anything that could be causing it to be happening for so long?
