What Causes A Huge Lump At Surgical Site Post Inguinal Hernia Surgery?

I recently got a inguinal hernia surgery done, its been a little over a week now, theres no more pain on the surgical site, but there is however a huge lump in my right side of the scrotum where they removed the hydrocele. I was wondering what this is? And should i be worried? I cant even feel my right testicle, seems like this bulge has eaten it up or somethin

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
It seems that there might be having some hematoma formation after surgery.
Gradually it will be absorbed.
Apply ice pack 2-3 times a day for few days.
But to be on safe side consult your treating doctor and get examined.
Ok and take care.
