What Causes A Hypersensitive Feeling All Over The Body?

Hi There, I have a hypersensitive feeling all over my body. I have body aches and cramps from time to time. I'm 35 years old and had the Shingles as a child. This feels the same but without the rash and not so intense. At night I have a "cold fever" where I freeze and start to shiver but the room temp is warm. ( South-Africa in Summer) I use a painkiller and this seems to keep the symptoms under control for 6 to 8 hours. ( Paracetamol and Ibuprofen ) I get this once every 3 to 5 months. This time it just seems to linger. The doctors treat the symptoms but just calls it a viral infection. What is your opinion??

Hello, thank you for posting your query here. I understand your concerns and would like you to answer a few questions so that it may help me to diagnose this better.
1. What is the approximate duration of chills and fever symptoms each episode ?
2. What is the maximum temperature recorded each time?
3. Any loss of weight?
4. Any history of tuberculosis or malaria in the past?

Right now the three possibilities I m entertaining are malaria which can come again if not treated fully, tuberculosis which causes night fever and sweats, or lymphoma. A more detailed history from you by answering my questions above will help us in discussing the diagnosis.
Hope this helps you. Please do get back with more information on your illness
