Hello,

A cyst in the kidney is not dangerous if it is a small one. The cyst can be congenital and small cysts do not interfere with the normal functioning of the kidney.

However, you need to consult your pediatric surgeon for assessing the site and size of the kidney cyst.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
