What Causes A Knot On The Cervix Of Uterus?

I have found a know on my cervix which has grown over the two years. i went to a doctor and she said that it is in my head. there was nothing wrong with me. I explained the pains that I have like severe cramps 3 wks out of the month and that it gets so intense that my emotions get out of wack. i do not have insurance but no dr. office will give me an idea of costs to see them. i am a rape surviver and am scared to see a man doctor but the dr. which was female made me feel vialated with her rush job. and not tryen to talk to me about what my concerns where with my body.
