What Causes A Knot On The Forehead And Tingling Sensation On Head?

I have been having numbness and tingling on the right side of my head for about 3 years now.I had a MRI done when this first started but they said they couldn't find anything.Now,I have noticed a knot on my forehead on the right side up towards my hairline 2 times.What could be causing this to happen.Could it be serious?
