Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My granddaughter is 15 and very active. She was treated with physical therapy for 6 weeks for was thought to be a labial tear. She is still in pain and the MRI was negative. When laying down on her back she is unable to raise her leg . The ortho is stumped and she is going to a pediatric neurologist. What could this be?

What Causes A Labial Tear?
Hi, Practically speaking, a labial tear is a clinical diagnosis and does not require any of the evaluation. All other hypothetical parameters have been evaluated, keeping in lieu that there is no definite diagnosis till date. It is recommended to consult in my office with all reports available and decide the further line of action. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
