What Causes A Large Bite Mark On Thigh?

I have a huge bite on my thigh that is about the size of a tennis ball cut i half under my skin. I have no idea what could have caused it and i can not see any bite marks, I live in texas and am wondering if this is something normal or if i should be concerned. it feels very warm where the bite is and very hard around the bite.. Should i ice it?

Hello There

After going through your medical query I understand your concern and I would like to tell you that yes you can use ice pack but a physical evaluation is also required to evaluate what is it exactly,if you didn’t get any bite . Kindly consult a physician personally for proper physical evaluation and treatment.

Hopefully this information will guide you properly.

Kind Regards
Dr Bhanu Partap
