What Causes A Large Blister At The Bottom Of The Toe?
I have a large blister on the bottom end of my second toe. There is no rubbing against the big toe. I had foot surgery last year on this toe and my big toe to straighten both. There is no pain and I cannot determine what is causing it to blister. I have been wearing ugg boots which are very cushioned for 3 months. I have reasoned that the shoe is causing the problem- so I badged the blister AND HAVE SWITCHED TO MY PLASTIC crocs that are very roomy In the toe area. I am not diabetic. Can blisters be caused by anything other than friction? thanks .

It could be due to allergic blister. As a first line management, you can apply low potency steroid creams like betamethasone for symptomatic relief.
If the lesion persists, it is better to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.
