What Causes A Large Purple Circle On Buttocks?
Hi I am a male 60+ and noticed a large purple circle on my left buttocks this morning and do not think that it was there the day before. There is no pain and there is normal feeling in the area and it does not look like an infection. The centre is normal skin colour and the diameter is about 50mm (so it is a sort of circle). What do you think?

I would suggest you get it examined by the doctor. Dark colored patch without injury. We have to check your platelets. Low platelets can present with it.
