What Causes A Large Reddish Yellow Mark On The Scalp?
My 5 month old grandaughter had a thumb size mark on her scalp yesterday, now it is yellow in the middle and has redness around the area. She is not irritable and no fever but it looks like an infection? Unsure what it may be but looks like it is getting worse.

The large red yellow mark on scalp of 5 month old grand daughter is suggestive of inflammation with secondary changes in soft tissue lesion. Though there is no fever, she requires prescription of antibiotics to heal it faster and prevent abscess formation or other sequences. Local care with sterile dressing is also warranted ahead for best results.
