What Causes A Large Spot Under The Armpit And Breathlessness While Having DVT?

I m wondering about the symptoms of a PE. I have a long history of DVTs and have had PEs in my lungs but they all happened at the same time. As far as I can tell I have not had another DVT, I have had a Greenffikter in since 1999. Yesterday I had a large spot just below my armpit but more around the side. I thought maybe it might be a pulled muscle. About an hour ago I walked across the floor and was very short of breath. The pain has increased and it hurts to take a deep breath. My bp is 126/81 and my pulse is 125. I m very worried.

Consult a general surgeon and plan for an ultrasound scan.
